Kim Hankyul is an artist living and working in Oslo, having acquired a BA in Aesthetics from Seoul National University and an MFA from The Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design (KMD), University of Bergen. Spanning over different mediums and dimensions, Hankyul’s work explores themes such as hysteria, ailment and counterlanguages through the sound images created by sculptures’ physical movements. Recent works were presented in Østre, EKKO festival no.17 (2020), Galleria Sculptor (2020), Atelier Nord (2020), Gyldenpris Kunsthall (2020), Bergen Elektronisk Kunstsenter (2019), Bergen Kunsthall (2019), Landmark (2019) and Galleri Slakt (2019) .
